i don't know who "Garo" is because i'm not a japan. but there's a PvP collaboration with it that lasted from 3.5 till 5.1, then started again in 6.1 with no announced end date. i have no reason to believe it'll suddenly go away when Dawntrail comes out. But what if it goes away when Dawntrail comes out, and there are all these titles and mounts and glamour i won't be able to get anymore. i've been strutting around with a "Makai Bard" title of which i don't know the implications for god knows how long, because i needed to have it equipped to unlock mounts while i do my daily PvP, and i've been in no rush to do so. but the other day i went on a rush

i've been slowly leveling my crafting and gathering jobs every day through tribal quests and Grand Company supply missions. now most of them are at 90 but i still haven't done their questlines to unlock some abilities and traits oops hehe, so i'm gonna go ahead get those done and be all good and primed to go expert crafter mode next month. i see comments online like "yeah i just made 50m passively from crafting these past few months i don't know how it happened" and i want dat to be me....

Sage is also at 90 now. shame i can't think of a situation in which i'd realistically play it anymore since i kinda wanted to get more time in with it. but all that's left is high-end stuff which i'm not even confident enough to do as a DPS let alone as a healer, and solo stuff where the combat consists of using Dosis, following it up with Dosis, and then (if the situation calls for it) Dosis

Gold Saucer bigmoney event ended today -- ended up at a little over this amount. waow! i spent all my other-event tomestones on MGP aside from a few things that would be hard/annoying to get otherwise, and that accounted for about a third of it. coulda traded them in for about 6 million gil's worth of items, but as a future rich person that is future nothing to me

now i own every mount from this godforsaken place. the rest went towards outfits and weapons that, aside from select mandatory purchases (bunny suit), i mostly only bought because they were on sale for the event. i do like these funny cactus weapons. each one cost 70k. i'll probably never use them

i have a list of things to do before Dawntrail. i usually don't care the slightest about being "current" with anything media; nowadays unless it's one of three video game franchises i usually only find out something new exists when i see it on a billboard. but obviously it's different for an MMO that so readily makes old content irrelevant. i wanna be hip with the kids engaging in their "savagery" and whatnot, without too many distractions. i say this now but watch me, one week after the expansion drops, suddenly decide to collect every Triple Triad card instead of raiding

a month ago this would've looked like a baby's list that a baby could carry out during their baby sleep, but i'm mostly only playing on weekends now so i'm wonderin mmm. i'm almost 2/3 of the way to 2,000 Shadowbringers A-ranks but that's still the most mmm one, and it's only on there because it'll be considerably harder once DT is out. and for a while at the beginning of a new expansion zones are split into three instances, meaning triple the hunts, so it'll leave me able to focus on those

did Eureka Orthos today. i had high hopes when the first cutscene had me calling G'raha on his cellular phone. then later on he says he's going to accompany me, before being told "not so fast", leaving the experience to be largely the same as what i've already done for 130+ floors. i don't know man did there really need to be three of these

you know. around the time i was dealing with the Loporrits i switched out my owl minion for the Namingway i got from Encyclopedia Eorzea, and just haven't switched it back yet. it was a nice change of pace. i ended up letting the owl roam free on my island sanctuary. but i think the fact that Eureka Orthos' version of the very fun "you walked over the secret Can't Do Anything trap! now you can't do anything for 30 seconds" turns me into that same owl, might be a sign. it's a punishment for straying from my path

they sure upped the insta-death attacks this time around!! musta died 5 or 6 times just trying to complete the first 10 floors. that list before said "Eureka Orthos story" but apparently for this one there's more quest after completing the final floor. i am not going to do this i am going to move on. to be honest i don't think i'll get everything done anyway, i'm giving myself so much less time to play and i don't want that time to feel rushed. i'm leveling Machinist i'm chillin

well so much for that agenda. i've hardly played the past couple weeks, most days not even logging on to do daily stuff. i just been busy!! unrelated but don't look at my Overwatch journal. i mean there isn't one i haven't been playing Overwatch which is why there's no hyperlink there, and if i had been playing it it wouldn't be because i was playing a lot of Crystalline Conflict and it got me in the mood for it

over time the plan simply became to take a break from the game until like two days before maintenance then go through the rest of the MSQ and that's all. then i saw an interview with Yoshi-P saying players should probably do Myths of the Realm before starting Dawntrail, and then i read that the first couple weeks will be an abnormally good time to make gil from crafting. so i guess now it's slowly doing MSQ, crafting prep and raids over the next. ten days ough

the obvious advice would be to not force myself to play a game i'm burnt out on. i guess i only really want gil so i can afford a house, but then i would fall into Square's evil trap of forcing me to stay subscribed and logging in every couple weeks so i don't lose my plot. and do i really need to do Myths of the Realm if they're myths anyway, i.e. surely non-canon right. this happens a lot though; i won't care much about a new game until like two days before it comes out and then i'll suddenly be super pumped for it. god i really played a lot of this game

aaaaaa i finally finished getting all these freaccking yokai watch weapons and mounts ouuuh. my new Getting My Life Together system that's partly to thank for getting me off this game so much, was in fact to blame here. what i do is i say i'll do a thing and then i have to do it. what'll happen if i don't do it? don't know, would rather not think about it, and if i just do the thing every time then i won't have to ever think about it. this event ends soon and i'd waited years for it to come back, so despite my current burnout i I-Will-Do-It'd myself into finishing it today, and i just managed to in the allotted time. missed the Dragon Quest event last week but whatever. i get my anime cat couch
